Staying at

Finniss River Lodge

Finniss River Lodge nestles beautifully into its panoramic landscape. Food and Beverage will be a highlight of the Lodge. A stylish Restaurant and Bar with breathtaking views over the horizon pool and wetlands will feature stunning dishes made from local produce enhanced by our every changing wine list, boutique beers and spirits.
We have just 6 exclusive suites, assuring you of a personalised stay and the highest calibre service.

The minimum length of stay is 2 nights, however we recommend a 3 or 4 night stay to truly experience the best of Finniss River Lodge.
Finniss River Lodge can be booked exclusively (5 or more rooms).

The Rooms

Watch the ever-changing floodplain from the comfort of your temperature-controlled room and private veranda.

All 6 suites at Finniss River Lodge have king-split beds (king beds that convert into 2 single beds) of the finest quality and levels of comfort. Two sets of rooms interconnect, creating two x 2 bedroom family options each accommodating up to 5 guests.

The Food

Blessed with a location within easy reach of some of the country’s best tropical produce, your chef will create unforgettable meals showcasing premium beef, local prawns, mud crab, barramundi, venison, and seasonal produce such as mangoes, limes, and native plant foods, all sourced locally.

Finniss River Lodge is a remote destination and attracts a small number of guests at a time. Help us make your luxury experience complete by advising your dietary requirements in detail at the time of booking. Our chef will tailor the menu to suit your needs and palate. (Please note, Finniss River cannot be held responsible if you do not advise your dietary requirements).

Communications

Wi-Fi is available throughout the Lodge. There is mobile phone reception with a Telstra booster in the Lodge. Phone and internet connection throughout the property and region is patchy and unreliable.

We acknowledge and pay respect to the Traditional Custodians of Param Country on which Finniss River Lodge stands. In sharing elements of their history, heritage and culture we acknowledge their connection to country. We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Elders past, present and emerging.

Finniss River Lodge is committed to environmental conservation alongside best practice pastoral work. Guests are invited to learn about our sustainability goals during their stay. There may be opportunities for guests to become involved in research projects whilst staying at the Lodge.
