Finniss River Lodge is proud to introduce the newest member of its team – Lachlan Raineri.
Having always enjoyed being in the kitchen through his teenage years Lachlan stumbled upon an apprenticeship straight out of school and soon enough fell in love with his new found career. Lachlan quickly climbed the ranks and has since gone on to work in some of the great restaurants of Brisbane, including City Winery where he met good friend and Finniss River Lodge’s most recent head chef Travis Crane.
Set to take Crane’s place and teaming up with return Finnis River Lodge chef Brock Moore for the coming season, Lachlan hopes to work with local producers to showcase their hard work and their array of produce from the Top End, focusing on produce driven, sustainably sourced, mouthwatering dishes for the guests of Finniss River Lodge to indulge in.
