Finniss River Lodge offers luxury accommodation with personalised service. Our six luxuriously appointed rooms, expansive decking, and an infinity edge pool looking west across vast floodplains is the splendour of the Dundee region of the Northern Territory. We offer luxury farm accommodation on a real working cattle station, with guided access to the land, plants and wildlife.
Finniss River Lodge nestles beautifully into its panoramic landscape, blending in like part of nature itself. It is a relatively new lodge, allowing us to design the buildings using the most progressive architectural techniques for luxury resorts with minimal environmental visual impact.
The main guest building comprises two halves, the six comfortable suites and the “Long Room”, where you can relax on the leather couches, reading books from the library, or wine and dine at the other end. The building is positioned perfectly to enhance natural lighting, especially during the golden hours in the afternoons, making it the jewel among luxury lodges near Darwin.
Food and beverages are a highlight of Finniss River Lodge, with a stylish restaurant and bar presenting breathtaking views over the horizon, pool and wetlands. Our acclaimed chef creates fantastic dishes using local produce, enhanced by our dynamic wine list, boutique beers and spirits. Delicious food, spectacular views and comfortable surroundings create the pinnacle of luxury escapes.
With only six exclusive suites available, you are assured a personalised stay and the highest calibre of service from our trained staff. The minimum stay is two nights; however, we recommend three or four nights to truly experience the best of Finniss River Lodge. We are not just about luxury stays in rooms and around pools but also have a diverse range of unique daytime experiences for you to enjoy.
Watch the ever-changing wetlands from the comfort of your temperature-controlled room and private veranda. All six suites at Finniss River Lodge have king-split beds (king beds that convert into two single beds) of the finest quality and levels of comfort. Two sets of rooms interconnect, creating two, two-bedroom family options, each accommodating up to five guests.

NOTE: Wi-Fi and Internet access are available, and there is mobile phone reception with a Telstra booster in the lodge area. Phone and Internet connection throughout the rest of the property and region is patchy and unreliable.
