Introducing Olivia who brings a true family heritage to Finniss River Lodge. As 3rd generation and eldest granddaughter Olivia represents past, present and future at Finniss River Lodge and connects your experience strongly with country.
Olivia knows this 50, 000 acre property like the back of her hand, living and working on the station her whole life she loves sharing her own special places on the property with guests. Watching the development and construction of Finniss River Lodge during 2021 and playing a vital role in its first season ignited a passion for the tourism industry – she now spends her days between the Station and the Lodge.
Recently completing a Bachelor of Agriculture, Olivia couldn’t be more excited to continue to dive deeper into the Northern Agriculture Industry and share her knowledge with guests on pastoral practises. Don’t forget to ask Olivia about introducing her “special friend’s” during your Cow’s and Canapes tour.
Peter Taylor (Fingers)
Guide / Transfers / All-rounder
Arriving in the Territory 1978 Peter moved to the Dundee area 34 years ago and fell in love with this diverse region. Passionate fisherman and lover of nature Peter and his wife have contributed in rebuilding the Wallaroo population that was once at the brink of extension in this region.
Peter has worked on/off Finniss River Station as a station hand since 1991 and has an abundant of knowledge of the property and is discovering it all over again with the guest he takes on tour. A true-blue Aussie storyteller Peter is engaging and loves sharing his adventures in his laid-back Aussie way. Don’t be shy to ask about his nickname!
